Ho Me Yang Yang

Three small buildings are sitting scattered around each other with their own incense. All three buildings are single-story, with a low roof and a small structure, creating a calm seaside townscape as if sitting on the sea with the sky above its roof. The architecture itself represents the friendly and rustic scenery of the outskirts of the coast, creating such a village landscape and the atmosphere of the beach.
However, the vitality of the sea and waves is not excluded. Shiny corrugated iron and polycarbonate, a glass block that faintly transmits intense sunlight, a roof line reminiscent of any other salt shop on the seashore, and a color that does not stand out from the sea or sky, etc. It expresses the image of freedom and dynamism.

Each of the buildings is a model as a whole, and each building is completely separated. The front reception building and the two single buildings share a courtyard located at the main entrance. If you follow the divided road like a two-pronged alley around it, you will arrive at the entrance to each independent building. Like the rear garden, the gardens of the two buildings located at the rear of the site face the same direction. However, it is divided by a fence, and due to the independent structure and the water space with the lower part open, the private area is secured with an independent view.

Yangyang, Gangwon-do is a beach represented by youthful vibrancy and freedom that gathers in search of surfing. Hajodae Beach is one of the most popular places in Yangyang for its peaceful and quiet atmosphere compared to other beaches. Homiyangyang is a guesthouse a lot more favored by family travelers, with the meaning of a space that contains a taste that you want to share with guests.
When the Hajodae Beach area allows a high floor area ratiois, designated as a tourism and recreation district unit planning area, a three single-story buildings seems like a bold choice. It is because the exterior gives priority to realizing the project concept rather than securing the maximum area of the building or economic efficiency and productivity. Special emphasis was placed on various points of contact where the taste of the owner and the desire of the guests meet.
